Our Mission

The Collaboratory’s mission is to provide UCR faculty and graduate students with an environment for collaboration in research and instruction emphasizing statistical / quantitative approaches. It provides faculty and graduate students with the most effective quantitative / statistical consulting and statistical software support possible, especially supporting campus research, instruction, and public service efforts.

The Collaboratory will extend this statistical support to the greater Inland Empire area, directly providing some consulting services but primarily acting as a conduit for industry, government, and nonprofit organizations to engage campus faculty and graduate students in consulting opportunities. The Collaboratory's community support activities will stimulate and enhance campus research and instructional efforts as well as provide important services to organizations throughout the region.
