The Statistical Consulting Collaboratory offers free statistical consulting services for UCR faculty, staff, and students on academic research projects.
- Clients are limited to 10 hours of service per quarter. These hours are calculated based on time spent by each statistical consultant in meetings as well as time spent performing research or data analysis.
- For the time beyond the 10 hour limit, the Statistical Consulting Collaboratory can provide premium services for a fee.
- The free service is for academic research projects and the Collaboratory provides no assistance on homework or class projects.
To make good use of your time with the statistical consultants, please be prepared for your meeting to explain your project, especially your overall research goals, specific scientific questions, experimental design, and what your data are. If you have any material that will help consultants to understand your project and problems, and reference paper from the relevant studies, bring them to the meeting.
The Collaboratory also provides the services to outside clients on a fee-for-service basis. Additional information about our rates can be found here.
